Privacy Notice
Please be aware that this chat server may involve the creation of private rooms and interactions with
other users. Any private room you join is at your own discretion, and the server owner is not
responsible for any content shared within private or public rooms. The rooms listed here are filtered to
show only public ones; however, private rooms are also available, and access to these may require
additional steps.
Important: Nothing published, shared, or discussed on this server is the responsibility
of the server owner. Users are solely responsible for their actions, content, and communication within
the chat rooms.
By using this chat server, you agree to adhere to these privacy terms. Please ensure that you understand
the nature of private and public interactions, and exercise caution when sharing personal or sensitive
information.
Why Using This Chat Service is Private
Temporary Data Storage (RAM-Based):
All chat room data, such as user information and messages, are stored in the server's memory (RAM)
temporarily. As a result, no data is permanently saved to a database, meaning there is no lasting record
of your activity once the server is shut down or the room is deleted.
No Persistent User Data:
In your code, user data is generated dynamically (e.g., random usernames created from a list of words)
and stored in RAM. This means that users don’t need to register, login, or provide any personal details.
Once the server is restarted, all data, including the user lists and chat history, are wiped out and
cannot be retrieved.
Private Room Accessibility:
Users can create private rooms by marking a room as "private" in the form. Private rooms are protected
from public listing and are only accessible through a room ID provided by the room creator. This adds a
layer of privacy to the conversation, ensuring that only those with the correct ID can enter the
room.
No Logging of Personal Information:
The service does not store sensitive information such as real names, email addresses, or IP addresses in
a persistent manner. The server only stores users’ IP addresses temporarily, which are used for session
management, but these do not leave any long-term record.
Room Deletion After User Exit:
When a user disconnects from a room, if no other users are left, the room is deleted from the server’s
memory. This ensures that once a chat session is over, the associated data is also cleared, further
enhancing the privacy of users.
Data Not Shared or Stored Elsewhere:
There is no external storage or database involved. The server operates solely in-memory, and nothing is
published or stored on external platforms or saved in a permanent database. This means users can use the
service knowing that their data is not shared with third-party services.
